So yesterday I changed my cam follower and PCV.
after I'd finished I started the car up and it did a weird stutery tick over for what felt like ages but was probably a few seconds before starting up. Now, I thought it was because I'd obviously disconnected the fuel lines to the fuel pump and maybe was to be expected. I turned the car off and on again and it started first time. So I thought nothing of it.
This morning however I thought it would have started first time because the fuel would be in the pipes from last night when the engine was running etc. It did the same ticking over before starting.
My first thought was the banjo bolt, it has a small hole running through the centre of the bolt to let the fuel through. Could this be missaligned so fuel is struggling to get through?
Or perhaps the other fuel line is done up to tightly?
Any thoughts?
