Believe me, my budget is well and truely burst, im spending a lot more than i ever intended to spend on an edition 30.....I blame these forums 

Tell me about it... mine has spiralled as well. Had a set back lately though, an ED30 is looking unlikely as we just can't justify the extra cost of the insurance to be put my Fiancee on there, so it's looking like it'll have to be 'standard' GTI now (booked our honeymoon at the weekend - could've bought a high milage GTI for the cost of that alone! Getting married is bloody expensive business!).

Ouch, I feel  your pain, I got married just over a year ago, as you say it is expensive buisiness, one big money making buisiness, nothing costs less than a grand

Ref the trip home mate.If you struggle with Skipton signs around Otley, follow the Harrogate signs & you should end up on the A59 which will take you straight into Skipton.Enjoy the drive home    & don't forget the v power.

Is harrogate not the wrong direction ? was planning in heading to iikley along the A65 and on to skipton then join the m6 at junction 36

..........thats fine then mate.I just though if you were a bit lost in Otley then the road from there to Harrogate would get you to the A59.You'r route should be fine.Sorry for the confusion.
