Revo Timing?
« on: May 07, 2015, 11:03:48 pm »
Hey guys, just a quick question regarding the timing setting with Revo. My mk5 was set to B8 T3 F9 on Stage 2. I was told that anything over Timing 3 my engine was knocking even though I use Shell V-power

I know ever car is different but I thought i would be at least able to run timing to 5 when running v-power.  :stupid:

So my question is, is more timing better? I mean the car was logged and feels great just wondering why I was unable to run anything over 3.

many thanks  :happy2:

im running timing 5 on stage 2 with v power. but had to stay at 4 until in uprated the clutch as it was slipping. otherwise boost 8 and fuel 8

I have a decat downpipe and revo intake. Only run on v-power. I dont have any logs as of yet but i have managed to get vag com and will be doing logs within the next few weeks.

Does a higher timing mean better bhp?

intercooler will help keep temps down result in higher timing. also might need new clutch as it may start slipping.
