HPFP banjo bolt
« on: May 10, 2015, 06:29:25 pm »
I was going to attempt changing the cam follower today naively thinking I had the a M8 triple square in my toolkit but I didn't. Looking on the internet I found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BGS-1-2-Spline-XZN-M8-x-53-mm-Bit-Socket-Non-Tamper-Pro-Range-/281516898926?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item418bb6fa6e

Would this do the job?

Have to take the insert out off the socket and use a spanner to turn it as its a very tight fit. I took mine out and taped it into a 1/4 inch spanner.

How I did it a 10mm ratchet spanner and a m8 triple square but the separate m8 triple square and a little bit of tape on it
Try Halfords or a car part motor factors
Hope this helps

Attached onto this? http://www.wilko.com/hand-tools/wilko-spanner-w-hratchet-10mm/invt/0343588

I have a normal 10mm spanner does the ratchet make it much easier?

Alot easier. Youll only get a tiny turn each time so ratchet spanner will defo help.
