Alloy sealant help
« on: May 09, 2015, 04:43:14 pm »
Hey, can I get some advice please. I have just had my wheels diamond cut and they are looking fantastic and I would like to keep it that way. any recommended wheel sealants? And how often should I be sealing them?

Gtechniq C5 is the best and will last 6-12 Months if looked after (only use mild wheels cleaners) but needs to be applied to a perfectly clean surface. Otherwise something like Finish kare 1000p hi temp wax will last a few months and is easier to apply and is £20 for a tub that will last years

C5 wheel armour but they must be really clean before applying.
I use Bilberry wheel cleaner to keep them clean after that.

I've used carbon collective in my old alloys and my new calipers and it does a spot on job, supposed to last 2 years but I haven't made it that far yet

Its just a way of life.
