So it's not a GTI?

No probs, just got the impression it was a GTI.

Well... my advice is to look after it, don't rag it, maybe look into some suspension upgrades.. that sort of thing.

But really, an fsi can never be a sleeper unless it has a more powerful engine than an fsi.

Its a gti, but the gti's from 2008-2008.5 were fsi engines. 2.0T still just fsi/: and i do take care of it

It's a 2 litre turbo yeah?

And I deduce from the photo you're in the US. Shame you get the ride height you do when our roads are probably far worse!

Would just reiterate my 2nd post really :-)

Do the headlight washers not come out of the little boxes underneath the headlights. And isn't a turbo fsi a tfsi? Mines an 05 and I was under the impression it's a tfsi.

I may be wrong but I always thought the gti was a tfsi, I thought it just stood for a Turbo fsi engine  :ashamed:

In the uk at least the early 2.0T was a TFSI, then later on they were TSI.

I'm not sure how much is lost or gained with the 'F', it's something to do with the injection/head, but a 2.0T is a 2.0T.

The US GTI is no different.

You all need to read the manual. All mk5 GTI are 2.0 Turbo FSI. Mk6 GTI are 2.0 TSI.

That Jetta with a 2.5L engine doesn't have a Turbo, so it has much less torque and power (170HP). It happened what it was supposed to.

Most likely a 1.4 TSI (Supercharged and Turbocharged) with 170 HP would beat him as well! He needs to read before he "says" stuff. :booty:
