Catalytic converter on a diesel.
« on: May 10, 2015, 08:31:03 pm »
just wandered if these are needed on a diesel for the emissions test on a diesel, or is it just a visual inspection of how much smoke comes out the back?

Going to do an egr delete in my 2.0 tdi and was going to do this at the same time.
How hard can it be?

It will/should  fail if there isn't "visually" a cat or DPF fitted if it was present at the factory.

I had a feeling about that, might miss the decat off and just go with the egr delete, don't want to be messing around swapping parts over come not time.
