All in time for moving up north for a year!I see REVO have released their software, but seems MRC's stuff or even Litechfields maps/add ons add more ability.I think APR have software as well

@jonnym do you know of Wayne Simpson? He's got the merlin purple RS6 the R8 on air and the S3 (now widebody) on air.His Instagram is rs4tdi and I believe his RS6 is APR tuned by vrsnorthampton, there's a few videos of that beast on his Instagram page
I'll try and get a vid and some exact figures from my friend getting his RS6 mapped by MRC in a couple of weeks, the good thing with the MRC is that its a bespoke map tailored to the car, not just a preset map loaded in.
Not a bad choice to have! As much as I'd love an RS6, I would only have one as a compromise if I needed the space as well. Went on a run yesterday and there was a 700hp R35 that I had a play with, made my S2+ R look like a diesel lol. And as others have said, I've been keeping my eye on the R35 market and over the last 18 months they have only been going up. Would loose 10s of thousands on an RS6 over a couple of years of ownership i'd imagine. So yeah out of the 2 for me it would have to be the GTR!
The facelift GTR's aren't as bad for running costs compared to the 1st ones but still expensive compared to the RS6. My personal opinion though is over say 2 years of ownership, you'd be better off with the GTR due to the RS6's depreciation if the C6 one is anything to go by. But whatever you choose you'll have an absolute weapon!
Prelimanry figures from MRC regarding the RS6 map (based on previous data )0 - 62 - under 3.5 second0 - 124 - approx 11.5 secondsTop Speed Approx 208 mphThe map on my friends car is on the 11th June so i'll upload the graphs then
The fella who I used to map my S4 has a new RS6, he currently has it to ~720hp and 1150Nm, says it is far too feisty for fast road driving, but for autobahn driving it just goes and goes and goes. They depreciate at a crazy rate too, but what a car.
