Xenon headlight and battery drain?
« on: May 13, 2015, 11:27:04 pm »
Could be a coincidence this:
Recently ive had intermittent battery drain on my car, drains  battery overnight for a few days, works fine for a few weeks then battery drain starts again!
I posted in here last time about it but then it decided to work fine for couple of weeks until this week!
So my car was flat again this morning, so started it off booster pack and off i went.
Being Googleing all day about battery drain on the mk5
May different answers: ccm modules, horn ecus!! Fuel relay sticking, dodgy headunits. So when i got home i pulled car onto drive to have a look at this battry drain issue and noticed one of the xenon headlights was out, swapped it for another bulb. Light comes on then flickers brighter then goes out.
Earlier on this week on my dash diplay its been telling me numberplate bulbs are out, when there not, reverse light out  but was working when i checked, rear foglight out aswell! Now my xenon has gone, could the lights have something to do with my battery drain issue?
