Personally I'd try to stick with original or a well known brand of wheel, BBS / Borbet / Momo / Azev etc , as the wheels you've linked to are ok in design, it's just that copy wheels can be a bit of a lucky dip in terms of quality and you can end up with bubbling lacquer or worse, bent alloys due to poor quality.
A set of used OEM wheels that you can maybe factor a refurb into would be a better investment for my 2p.

I've had about 5 sets of replica wheels and have never had a problem, they still have to pass strict regulations and tests etc..

Even the finish is normally very good, I wouldn't be to worried about buying replicas, also bare in mind a diamond cut refurb will cost you £100 per wheel. So buying a used set and refurbishing them can get expensive quickly.

I really like them mate aren't these same wheel as upgraded mk7 Gti ones?
I personally wouldn't fit cheap aftermarket wheels mate, generally chinese rubbish that don't last 5 minutes

Good reason why genuine ones will cost you £2,000+
My mate fitted cheap aftermarket wheels to his ep3 type R and within 6 months the finish on them as ruined and they constantly needed balancing as a swear they were made from butter

couple of options from this buyer,
would greatly appreciate peoples thoughts on them
they would be to go on a black gti

seemingly these are brand new and genuine parts ?
how at that price I do not know but this is a huge company on e bay and 40k feedback with only something like 10 negative of which none of these are regarding questioning or complaining about parts not being genuine.

is it to good to be true ?
any advice greatly welcome

I don't think the anthracite alloys would look good on a black gti. From the pictures in the advert, those alloys shown on a Passat, nothing special. I reckon it would make the gti look like a normal golf with a set of upgraded wheels.
