Is there a guide/how to for removing the head on the AXX engine?

Started the stripping process ready for removal. Do the cams have to come out to get to the head bolts? I also need the torque settings and tightening sequence for refitting.

Looked on the guide section but the links to the service/repair manuals don't seem to work?

EDIT***

While the car is off the road and I've stripped the engine bay to take the head off, I've been lookin to see if there's any common problems to rectify at the same time.

I've heard a few stories of failed oil pumps. I was just wondering if the balance shaft delete with 1.8t pump is the best or only way to resolve this before it happens? And if so is it worth doing now or are failures not common enough to worry about??

Cheers... I've done head gasket replacements and a couple of rebuilds on the past but not on a tfsi lump.

There's a lot more to this than my old Cvh s2 escort RS turbo lol
