Rear arch rust

So noticed slight bit of rust on inside of rear arch yesterday. The car is a mid 09 build and quite surprised it's rusting already! I understand a lot of people get front wings covered but does anyone know if vw do rear wings even out of warranty?

Mine has rust on the rear wheel arch. I put in a warranty claim with VW and they offered 50% contribution. I haven't taken it further to be honest as I'm undecided whether to sell up and move on. I've had both front wings replaced, sill repaired and the tailgate around the rear badge repaired all due to rust with varying levels of contributions from VW.
