Hopefully the wise people of the forum will be able to offer some much needed urgent advice!
So this afternoon I got to my car after work and when I started the car the idle was high and the exhaust sounded very different when I pulled away. Something wasn't right and after calling the AA out, it turns out that i might have some damage to my exhaust (full milltek system). And while I know a lot of you will be saying its a good excuse to get a BCS etc etc I'm currently without a car at the moment. (I think its those ridiculously harsh speed bumps that my work has all over the place which might have caught on the exhaust).
So now I know Alex has welded up a few downpipes etc in his time, but I was wondering whether or not anyone could advise the best course of action to get my car onto the road as soon as possible with the least disruption. Is it best to take it to a local garage I know and ask them to take a look at it? Are these things usually something that can be repaired easily??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, just hope I can get my car back onto the road soon!
Cheers
