Some version C are lcd and some are Led.  All version  d are led. But be careful as some lcd ones when upgraded,  the part number in the secret menu changes to version d.

If you have a star button top right corner then its led.

I have had led and lcd but see little  difference in quality of image.

I have a RNS-510 version A and version P. You can tell the image isn't the same but not much difference. The LED version has a bit more contrast.

Both have the same functionalities since the version A has the FW 5238 and the version P has the FW 5274.

Only time i saw a major difference is when i upgraded from firmware 1300 to 3810 and then the bootup was quicker.

At the moment I don't see much difference in boot up times. I never timed, though.
