Just thought I'd pop up and say hi just registered today. Bought a GT tdi not quite a gti I'm afraid but I've been flicking through different forums and I like the look of this one! Based in northwest London, Northwood/Watford area il pop some pics up when I can sort my photo bucket out.

Got the photo bucket sorted here's a couple of pics from when I got it. Sorry it's nothing fancy just from outside my house/building site.

 



Since then ive done a couple of small bits but that can wait for a progress thread!

Welcome along nice car, the mk5 really does look well in red :happy2: did the early gt tdi's come with a not so good looking front bumper? Seen loads of mk5 golf gt tdi's running about with that not so good looking bumper then I've seen the nicer bumper on others like yours. Looks basically a gti bumper with different inserts.

Thanks guys, yeah I think it was just the last year of production they got the gti bumper but with the slat grills I'm liable to be wrong though! Il pop a couple of pics up as it is now, I've swapped the grill over already.

Those with eagle eyes might notice I've changed the mirror indicator covers after the last ones were broken by the builders.


It does also now have a front plate on.
