Pressure washer without water mains
« on: August 18, 2015, 11:11:12 pm »
Can I feed a electric pressure washer with a tank/drum of water instead of having to have it connected to the water mains?

Yep.... will work. Just get some sort of filter to make sure no crap gets sucked into the unit.

also worth noting, try and keep the hose from the container to the washer as short as reasonably possible (2/3 metres or less ideally) or you're gonna shorten your pumps' lifespan a little  :happy2:

Yes it will work fine. I have just bought a karcher which I use off a water butt, it works perfectly.
