Rear Light - Opinion please

I've used the LED outers and kept the (darkened) inners....

....I couldn't do that on mine without the extra expense of both sourcing and buying the 2 darker inner ones, and you have to buy all 4. My 05 GTI came with the lighter colour orange tail lights. I'm not unhappy about it though.

the more i see of them the more i likey.
 
 a few guys on the yanks forum have them smoked down so that the casing blends into darker coloured cars but still lets the lights work full strength
