If you like them then go onto the German ebay site and you'll get them at a cheaper and more realistic price.

With these lights dont you have to do some soldering work on the inner light?

I know TC & RR both have these, although i think they have the Hella editions, i recall reading a post from RR talking about the wiring for reversing etc is on the wrong side.

I noticed Markymark has only got the outers so but confused!!

They look very trick though i want them after a Map, zorst etc etc etc

You need to reverse the lenses on the inner lamps so that the red lens is on the drivers side. It's not too difficult to do but you'll require either a hot glue gun or soldering iron. TC did his with super glue and had a problem with misting in side one of the units.

Apart from that, these lights are a direct replacement with no need for VCDS recoding.

I only put the outers on as im not keen on the inners, thought it was a little OTT on a black car, to bling for me. The whole set works better on a white car IMO. :happy2:
Glad you got some sorted Smudgster! :happy2:

....bacillus speaks da truth!

Plastic welding is the best fix for the internal lenses swop. I love mine (of course!) but the only slight disappointment is that the bright surrounds to the rear fog and reversing lenses aren't functional, though they do add some extra bling visibility.

They especially suit Candy White GTI's - See TC's fine example.

I just remembered that I wrote a review on this site : - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=4469.0

....I couldn't do that on mine without the extra expense of both sourcing and buying the 2 darker inner ones, and you have to buy all 4. My 05 GTI came with the lighter colour orange tail lights. I'm not unhappy about it though.
