BKD engine 2.0 GT TDI - OIL IN COOLANT

Hello all,

This issue has been covered by many threads before and I realised that after a deep search through the forums but was unable to achieve a solid answer to my specific problem. We have owned the car since 2004, it is an '04' registered car and it is absolutely SPOTLESS. When I say spotless, I mean it. The rear seats have never seen a bum. Now with what I would say is low mileage, 68,700 miles, I am now at my wits end with this car and it is with absolute heart break that I'm fearing the end of the car. The whole problem started back in 2010 when there was a small residue of oil in the coolant, we (my local mechanic, a VW specialist I have known for over 20 years) agree'd that it would have been the oil cooler without too much thought. As expected, a flush was carried out and the car was good to go for about a year. The problem then came back worse, so I had another oil cooler replaced in 2013 (with many flushes and other small quibbles in between) and crossed my fingers this would be the end of it. In 2014, the tank was absolutely full of black thick sludge and no sign of coolant was found so we decided to change the radiator. When the radiator was removed, it was absolutely full of oil and was dripping heavily when removed so it was replaced with a brand new VW radiator. Now after the recent flush (4 months ago), the car has been loosing power and is again full of this black s***. It isn't exactly mixing as there is no sign of coolant in the smudge. I've checked the engine oil on the dipstick and it doesn't seem as though water is getting into the oil as it isn't that light browny colour. There is no mayo on the caps either. I've tried a couple of garages as to what it could be and all I've been able to get is ''try replacing the oil cooler again'' or ''the BKD engine is prone to having porous heads'' which I found on the internet aswell. But what I don't want to do without finding out for sure is if I should be paying for a THIRD oil cooler. I've been quoted over £2500 to carry out repairs on the head which is far too steep to carry out on a car worth roughly £4000-5000. I'm all out of ideas now and feel like giving up. It's such a shame as the car turns heads everywhere and you honestly wouldn't be able to tell it's an 04 with the private reg on it. Does anyone know what my next steps should be?

Wish I could mate, if I sell it I'll get my windows smashed in. Trade in and WBAC are offering me pennies, like £1100-£1400.

Replace the engine
Golf 2006 tdi 140pd, dsg paddles,blue interior led lights,r32 rear bumper, cruise control,vcds,highline , r32 mfsw steering wheel, gti front bumper,miltek decat.

If selling the car is not an option i would find a decent Rev C head (NOT Rev A or B), get it pressure checked, and swap it over as well as replacing the head gasket./ I would replace the header tank, flush the radiator and pipes to get as much of the oil out as possible.
