UPDATE

I have to say though I thought it would "feel" a bit quicker, but I'm wondering if that's due to me being used to the low down torque of the TDI and me not having driven petrol engines for almost 3 years, I might have to get used to revving higher again.

Aldo

Welcome Aldo!..................couldn't agree more, I found the Ed 30 a little disappointing after driving the GT 170 diesel. It's the torque in higher gears where the diesel scores most. However with all the tuning oppurtunities available for the Ed it could become a flying machine if you get tempted by the fellas on this forum!!  we're just down the M11 from you too  :happy2:

I am with "More Than" Aldo :happy2: If you are planning on keeping the car standard, then they are one of the best! (for both money and benefits) It came with all the extra's like European cover, protected no-claims etc, etc. Only thing is they will not allow you to modify the car in ANY way which alters top speed/acceleration. :booty:
This means I have to wait till March to get my car Revo'd and change insurers!

Cheers Carlo,

That's good information to know for sure!

Actually have someone coming to see the TDi on Friday so hopefully I'll be sorted and just stay with my current insurer.

Then I can begin the long researching process about which map to get
