For anyone interested....I've had my mechatronics replaced earlier this week via a Warranty Direct policy. Supplied unit from A1 Premier Transmissions and fitted by my local Indy.So far, very happy...no kangaroo'ing in reverse, no jerkiness going forward from a standstill. Feels a little less responsive but I am told that the car takes some time getting to grips with the 're-learning' your way of driving so I'll be driving a fair bit over the next few days to see how it goes.Back in love with our Mk5 and can see us now keeping it for a while.
