K03 Gti stage 2 questions.
« on: June 05, 2015, 10:31:21 pm »
Have a bit of dilemma ... I want to get a few more bits before going to Rtech for mapping.. Question is what parts..

Currently have ;
Euro jet decat down pipe
Evoms intake

But I don't know wether to go welly cooler and a cat back System.

Or spunk mega bucks on a uprated HPFP...

Help please I would rather have both... By can't afford it any insight is better than none.

I am sure the guys at r-tech will tell you what you need to fit (and remove) before they will remap your car - maybe ring them before making any expensive purchases?

Where Napoleons armies marched with horse and musket and Hitlers Reich crumbled in blood and rubble, the warriors of Armageddon do battle against the landscape of hell now indeed thrive the ARMOURERS

The cat back will offer very little if any performance gains, HPFP will offer the most and would be what i would get if i was you

Your welly cooler will help you keep those extra ponies  :happy2:

hi r tech good company and good staff

Currently have ;
Euro jet decat down pipe 15 bhp (BCS or milteck)

Evoms intake 5 bhp (revo/ ram air or even panel filter)

cat back System. 5 bhp (BCS or milteck)

r-tech remap 50 bhp (revo or apr superchips)

HPFP bhp ???? which one ?

new better inter cooler ?

will help it cool down and run better

so i guess good engine  should make 275 bhp wiitch is good fun in K03
should spool up very quick and sound well and keep up with alot of cars

Defo add the HPFP to get stage 1+. Have you got gti or ED30??? Got mine mapped by r-tech with intake, HPFP (loba) and pre cat removed and got 330bhp and 333 lbft. HPFP helps with midrange torque.

If you have an intake, you need the HPFP to get the most out of it. Stock HPFP really restricts how much you get out of it (particularly torque)
