Maybe add Stage2+ to the tittle as there are a few S3 and Cupra drivers @ stage 2+ with new clutches....
Had VWRs upgrade recently. Not 100% on how high the pedal is for a brand new clutch. Its in in Jan for Diff and to add the uprated pressure plate as the wrong one turned up for my car. Going to mention the high pedal to them then, will update.
The uprated (sintered metal) clutch disc seems up to the job and takes the abuse APR stage 2+ can throw at it. I find it slightly juddery sometime setting off but that could be down to my driving. Probably as I'm over cautious not to slip the clutch, having had to buy a new dual mass flywheel @ £500.....
Most of the problem with the stock 'clutch' is actually the flywheel..
Anything which uses a stock duel mass flywheel will end up having problems..
I went for a Southbend stage 5 on the S3, it was light, had incredible bite (even launch after launch after launch) and is easy to drive with..
Only downside for some would be that it makes a little noise, just chatter from the single mass flywheel.. Was £1200 I think..
