Annoying sound from rear!?
« on: June 06, 2015, 12:46:32 pm »
Hey. after i removed the rear coilover adjusters to get it more lowe ar the rear, i started to hear a annoying squeak sound, sounds more like dry rubber rubbing etc. when going over speedbumps or driving slowly along a un-even road ( under 15mph ? ) what can it be? annoying me so much!

No you need them there to support the springs and reduce the noise

I would replace the rubber supports personally I've got kW's just like you and I've taken out the adjuster to but I don't have the squeaky noise like you have or something is loose !? Tighten everything up matey

If you removed the rubbers that's exactly what would happen. Managed to lose one of mine so picked up another from a VW breakers for a fiver.

@Wash i removed the top support rubber and the sound still exist, i guess it's the lower rubber that goes in the arm. will it stop if replacing top and bottom with oem new rubbers?
