I'm planning to upgrade the standard disks to higher spec, something like Tarox, but without altering the size and there seems to be a couple of possible size of disks on the car. Assuming I don't remove the wheels is it possible to confirm the currently fitted sizes using the VW options codes or the V5 etc ?
From my Haynes manual there are either FSIII or FN2 calipers on the front, with either C38 or CII38 on the rear, but no clue as to identifying from the car.
Is it likely they are 288mm fronts with 255mm rears ?
The car is a 58 plate standard GTi if that helps limit my options.
