Removal of front VW badge
« on: December 12, 2009, 10:04:34 pm »
Is there a quick way to remove the front VW badge (without removing the grill?)

I have tried turning it to the left but it doesnt budge!

Any ideas?

The front grille takes a few seconds to remove, just four screws. Do that and it will save breaking the badge!  :happy2:

Make sure you have magnetic screwdrivers. I had to remove a fog grille to access a dropped screw.  :fighting:

I changed mine without removing the grill.Just get some wd40 or something like, fit the extension tube & spray around the back of the badge.Leave it a couple of mins & then a quarter turn to the left & out it comes.
ED35. Standard factory condition.
