My Diesel GT TDI (sorry not a GTI)
« on: December 19, 2008, 08:13:07 am »
Inspired by MortyGTTdi and his posting, I though I would share some pics of my ride. Generally standard and an Oil burner but pretty quick all the same, and 50+ mpg  :happy2:

Hope you like?

Not professional by any means but she came up a treat (well to my eyes anyway). Hope you like.

Cheers
Andrew

i think id be tempted to change the door cards to black ones though. that would look great

There is nothing wrong with being proud of your car, this forum is for enthusiasts of the Mk5 not just GTI's   Why do you think we put up with JPC.  :signLOL:

Ha ha, thanks guys, she's not bad at nearly 4 years old and 35,000 miles.

Looks like there are some comedians to deal with on this forum

Much more light hearted than some forums I visit, think I'll stay...

Like Mortygttdi, I'm looking to do the later style GT Sport front bumper conversion early next year which should bring her bang upto date.

Not a bad price to be fair, but a bit near xmas for that sort of money.

However, if you still have them in the new year, and I don't waste all my money over the holiday period, I could well take you up on that  :happy2:

Thanks for the offer regardless.

Hi Andrew looking very  8) carnt wait to see it in the metal.  I wish my paint was has nice as that but unfortunately when I bought my golf knowing it was a cat-c I did't look round it proper and didn't see the way some paint monkey had sprayed it unfortunately it was the blind one out of the 3 monkeys

I was thinking about getting RS6 wheels but its gonna be either them or new shape RS4's.

Keep it up for the diesel power Andrew and see you soon.
