Back again with another golf! MK5 TR R32
« on: June 19, 2015, 12:52:29 pm »
Hello Ladies.

Brief Car history from past few years:

Corsa 1.6T Stage 3 Regal:

Stage 2 Rtech Edition 30:

Stage 2+ Rtech Audi S3:

Wasn't too keen on the S3 needed to get back in a golf! Loved my ED30 gutted I had to sell it (needed 5 doors). Bought the R32 over a month ago, My first non-turbo car.. Had it about 6 days until the DSG box failed and its been sat in the garage ever since.. After a long battle between the Dealer, Warranty Company and myself about who should pay the repairs (£4200!!) there's finally been an agreement where I don't think anyone is happy but at least the car can be repaired now. They ordered the parts yesterday so hopefully I'll have it back soon and I can stop phoning multiple companies each day asking for an update so me and my r32 can live the rest of our lives in peace lol.

Here is the only picture I got before it went bang:

Came with Recaro Wingbacks, DSG, an unknown catback, highline, sunroof etc

Managed to fit a few mod in with the few days I had it:

RNS 510

Panel Filter:

Private Plate:

Looking forward to getting it back and fitting the rest of the stuff I have in the garage:

New Lucifer Catback with Miltek Tips, H&R lowering springs and BBS CH wheels

Got a bit of tidying up to do on the car, Needs few little dents taken out and the common paint issue above the from arches needs sorting. Going to take it to VW see what they can contribute as its a common problem. Apart from that needs a decent polish and I'm well away.

Next will be united Motorsport map with DSG spark cut :)

Looking forward to seeing some of you guys around :)

Shame abouts the problems you've had. It'll look nice sitting on those BBS, couldn't keep away from the Ed30 look??

Look forward to reading some more

My mum has a MK5 R32 and her number plate is V6 CUU.

Shame to hear about all the aggro with the car, always spoils what should be a great thing, I had a few issues with mine but nothing like that. Should look fantastic on those wheels, look forward to seeing the progress  :happy2:

Car is finally back!

So here is it 4.5k later..

So glad to have it back and the DSG is smoother than ever :)

Went to VW about the front wing corrision and they are prettys sure they can fix it under paint warrenty :) managed to get my exhaust on this weekend too:

de-wipered, new xenon bulbs and rear top brake light replaced. Looks like I'll need a new passenger side brake light as it keep steaming up. Will be lowered next weekend :)

Unfortunately I got conned abit with the wheels. I thought they were genuine 5x112, turns out they are nether.. so on the look out for some new wheels, not going to rush as ronals growing on me. Last Pic!:
