Looks much fresher with the painted grilles, takes years off it! One more job added to my list then.

Also approve of the eddy/r32 lights.

Good to see nice mods on another Tornado Red, helps me plan mine

Oh and there really isn't much between a GTI and R32. My GTI has a shade under 300lb/ft from 2500rpm (thanks to R-Tech).... makes it really strong and punchy, and honestly - bring on the R32s..... I'd leave them behind.

Cheers mate, I've had a browse at your car, looking good. I'm planning a visit to R tech later this year maybe, did you go stage1? And did you get the dsg remapped (if it is a dsg)

They are an optional extra, I think the r32's have them as standard.. Have a look on ebay etc and olin the for sale section on here. There is normally a pair up for grabs and they look much better as well as lighting the whole road up  :happy2:

Yeah just stage 1. I made sure I replaced the pcv, cam follower and diverter valve a few weeks before I got the remap.

It's a brilliant map, smooth but really strong. It flies now.

I've got a manual box.

Might go for an uprated HPFP and exhaust/decat at some point and head back down to have them tweak the map to stage 1.5 / 2 or whatever it'd be.

But for now I'm more than happy!

Nice man, the bottom 2, runs I think they are, are they before and the top 2 are after? Couldn't read it 100%. What mods did you have at the time?

Yeah I think he did 2 runs pre map to log etc, then came back and did 2 more with the new map. Was a good few hours at it, and it shows.

No surging, spiking, flat spots etc, and big torque for a k03.

The reputation of R-Tech is justified.

That's bone stock. Just the map.

Spraying the front grill was a fantastic shout! I was at a show recently and they were a MK5 there which just had a full respray but for some reason all his front grills were nearly grey they were so faded! let down the car so much! :happy2: :happy2:

I think you have to have a set number of posts before your allowed to comment etc. There is a rules or guide thread in the for sale section and that tells you how many posts you need.
