Now I've got the GTI back from the Crank Sensor Issue, and I can now go over 4,000 Revs!
But I've been borrowing my Brothers 1.8 T FSI A3 (Auto), and it seems so much more responsive and the turbo just seems to be more fun. It kind of makes me question if my car was ever at its top performance.....
At first we were joking saying that his must have been 'chipped' but after looking at the status, even after a stage 1 type mapp, his would still be well short of matching a 2.0 VW GTI in terms of BHP and Torque.
Due to the age of my GTI I think im going to change the PCV and DV and see what happens, I've had the car 3 years (2006, AXX) and never had this checked, and its the only GTI i've drove so nothing to compare against.
DV - 06F145710G - £41.99 from VW
PCV - 06F129101
L - £38.82 from VW
Now is that the correct part number for the PCV? I did my research on here and that told me I should be asking for 06F129101
N, but VW told me that is for cars over 2012, and doesn't work for my model/engine??? So I should be looking at the L or R versions
Would anybody be able to confirm the exact version I need for a 2006 AXX engine car? do I need any additional gaskets?
Thanks!
