Sealing after polishing.
« on: June 22, 2015, 08:01:26 pm »
When it comes to sealing the car after a polish what should I do:

A) Jetseal 109 sealant and then Soft99 premium (wax) on top of that (2 coats of each?)

B) One or the other?

Does it make any difference to the protection? Will the wax still be able to bond to the paint on top of Jetseal?

Thanks.

You dont really need both but if you go down this route then its sealant first and then wax.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I went way overboard with all the coatings but it did withstand the elements for at least 9 months! Jetseal then wax! http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,89106.msg902491.html#msg902491
