Very impressive - would love to have the facilities to be able to do this. Was there much grot / rust under all the liners you took off?

Nicely sorted car - the alloy parts and anti lift kit are well worth doing. I need to do the hubs on mine as just have the wishbones fitted so far.

Look forward to your future updates!

Thanks for the comments guys.

I am just a hobbyist and do all the work myself.  It has been a big project with many hours going into it and is easily underestimated!

The rust under the arches wasn't particularly bad. But I would say that I caught it just in time. There were certain areas with fairly heavy surface corrosion.  Probably the worst area was the spare wheel well. I wish I had taken more photos!

Everything was ground back with a wire wheel on a grinder, rust treated, rust buster undercoat, chassis top coat and then coated with dinitrol. Hopefully this will see the car in good stead for years to come.

No decent photos of the car itself at the moment as it is in bits in terms of bodywork at the moment.  I've got 2 new front wings to go on and the rest of the car is going to go to the bodyshop for almost a full respray to sort out dents, scratches etc.
