is bacilus def k03 then. anyone know his mods and software. dead impressed with that.
....Some say that The Stig regularly eats two turbo's before breakfast.
Some say that bacillus is running a K04 under his hood.
With curves like that, bacillus is either female or must be doing something special. The word on the street whispers "K.. 0.. 4" but is bacillus going to spill about his mods or will it all remain shrouded in secrecy.

hes pulling 360Ibft torqe as well. thats surely beyond the realms of what a k03 can make.

Certainly not a K04, as with his other mods it would be a lot higher. But still mighty impressive for a K03. More like a KO3 1/2 ... Hybrid?

well it would be consistant for K04 S1.

i've just done some digging on the other 300+bhp K03 car I know of...the dyno sheet shows that car never made over 300lb/ft (peaked just shy of it) and made 308bhp at just gone 6k rpm.

And that car had A LOT of bits on it.

So this GTI, making 360lb/ft and staying above 300lb/ft till 5k rpm...is i have to say most impressive, if it is a K03 car.

 :happy2:

i think 300BHp is possible with a ko3 car with water methanol and a custom map, but dubious about 360Ibft. thats huge.
.
who was there on the day, they must know. we need bacillus to come on and post

Looks like it was a cracking day out guys and some spot on figures too, bet the weather certainly helped.
I need to stop reading threads like these as I just depress myself by seeing all the cars again and wish I was there..  :sad1:

Gaz - Are you S2+ now I take it? Awesome figures bud  :happy2: How does yours compare with Tom's on the road? With you      having  a noticable power advantage and Tom being S-Tronc?

Tom - Loving the Turinis  :happy2:

Matt - Nice to see the motor kicking out some healthy horses now mate

Bacillus -  :surprised: Where do you hide the Nos bottle?

Joe - Poser!  :signLOL:

Yes stg2+ now Ben, there isn't anything between the cars on the road to be honest, I think the DSG really helps out. The only time I felt I had any advantage was at motorway speeds when we were held up by a car which then pulled over and we accelerated again I could gain on him, but that could also be because I was in his slipstream.
Toms car looks absolutely awesome on the road :happy2:

Ok, gather around guys as I will only say this once!

Under the shiney hood lies a wee oem K03 with revo 2+ software, ITG panel filter and Forge DV. No water meths or NOS.

Last year at Prosport RR day I also got over 300bhp with similiar torque figures but at the end of the meet, the results of all the dsg cars were called into question after Vtec_Abuser's dsg car pulled an unbelievable 360bhp on just a Revo stage 2 map.

The thought of a hybrid turbo instead of a K04 has appeal ed to me in the past but getting the required custom software was such an issue that I've locked all thouhts of doing it away (for now at least   )

iirc it was running slightly rich @ around 11.5 at redline. The last lambda I logged (that would be more accurate) appeared to be spot on what was being requested by the ecu.

For this meet I used B8 T6 F7 as I knew it would be cold.
Fuel has always been V Power and made sure I was running a fresh tankful yesterday.
Car is dsg.
