Is it me or is Pauli's torque a little low for a stage 1 k04 car?

TC before you go stressing and spending more cash, what was your revo settings yesterday as a slight tweak may clean up your AF graph.

Ah my new best logging expert, buddie
  Hi Bacillus.

I cant remember 100 % as PG had a play with my settings at the Awsome meet. I think it was boost 7 timing 9 fueling 6. but the timing and fueling could be the other way round.  :rolleye:   :happy2:

Hi TC,
I reckon that your settings are the other way around - much more likely to be running timing at 6 :rolleye: I'd knock your fuelling back to 8 and it is running a little lean, you may even need to go down to 7. You can actually log your afr yourself by measuring lamba, multiplying by 14.7 to get calculated AFR.

Richening fueling is the way to go but seening that TC don't have an uprated HPFP, I would be more inclined to try lowering boost to 6 in the first instance and log the lambda values.

I actually was running 6,9,6 but PG and I decided to try upping the boost to 7 after i fitted the intercoolers. The car has definitely been faster since we did this especially in third gear.
I will see if Johno can sneak off and do some logging with me. Do you need to let the car adapt to the changes with the SPS switch before logging can be done, or can it be done straight after.

You can log straight after but any change to the map will need some adaption time to see the full extent of the change(s).

mmmm

as ever its a minefield  :happy2:

All great results though , which we need to collate together.....

TC car runs strong but as bacillus states is on the 'edge' of the fuel delivery anymore and I suspect he'd experience fuel cuts if pushing  it any further so the tweaks are to be found with the other settings.

still havent replied to my question bacillus   as you appear to have found the K03 secret  :drinking:

In general the lack of a std plot for the revs vs bhp is making the graphs look very different.

Pauli's curves are low at the bottom end (compare the bhp at say 3500 to Toms), you may have a small boost leak etc
(as the top bhp figure seems great), log the boost to find out  :happy2:

The K04 maps should come in at 3k rpm ish (seems theres always a difference between on the road spool time and dyno spool)
as youre at full boost by then (or should be).

I didnt realsise that was a k03. good effort,

what have you done to manage that and what software etc. Normally you could get shot down for the dyno lottery, but since everyone else was on the same dyno, samwe day etc, im mega impressed

And the fact that my standard ed30 came back with a 230.0 shows the rollers to be quite accurate  :santa:

....Exactly what I was about to post.

Tweak your Revo settings TC and your AFR plot will probably flat-line as it should - But do it sooner rather than later. That will leave you free to consider your pump options in your own time. There's also the upgrade to Revo2+ to consider if you change your pump. Such mods won't break your K03 car but 2+ will push things harder - This why I personally have stepped back from going further (famous last words?).

What intake are you currently running?
