oh yeah course he's not ready to do the HPFP yet is he.

but still Chris / whiteGTI with S2+ never did 300bhp, but he got close at Superchips didn't he?

Chris also had just Stage 2 IIRC

well that explains that then! cheers steve  :happy2:

^^ But Robin's car isn't Stage 2+ like bacillus
I know that steve   i replied to vRSy's post saying about Blades comment on Redrobins car under performing when it isnt.

and cheers for your knowledgeable answer DaveB1970, If questioned it because weve yet to see a K03 Gti  hit 300bhp on a DD rollers, and if your saying just because the temperature was cool   or does bacillus's select switch give him different settings to everyone elses Revo settings?

Just curious because surely if that was the case then bacillus should tell those with the same setup his settings secret to unlease this hidden powerrrr!!!!

its funny watching people faces going mmm thats a bit off what it should be doing and the phones coming out to call the tuners but then again i would do the same  :fighting: but u never know what your car is doing unless u get a the rollers and find out and test what the tuners say about the maps they sell

I must admit I most I have ever seen is 285bhp and 350lbft from a car with quite a few more mods.  :surprised:

I'm not doubting anyone here my only query is has bacillus got a DSG map?

Theres one way to find out..

Go to a 1/4 mile day and the BS stops, can't argue with that?

Sounds like you all had a good day, shame I had to miss it  :sad1:

As for DSG skewing results, I dont think so really.. Blades car made 15hp less than mine on a DD rolling road day, with 5 minutes between the two runs.. Mine had the 3" exhaust, no cat, Revo map running more boost, etc etc.. Seemed fair that mine would make a little more power?

I think dyno days are good for one thing, and thats a bit of banter, good meet up and fun.. At the end of the day everyone seemed to have enjoyed it so all is good..  :happy2:

And, if you guys have discovered the worlds most powerful K03 car at the same time then bonus.. Even if it was running with magic fairy dust in the tank, which is the only way it would be running those figures on an engine dyno..  :xmassmiley: :xmassmiley:

so JC, are you saying, from your experience, that those numbers for a K03 car are wee bit OTT??

Before I get singled out as being 'the bad guy' Ill just say that im just making the point that RR days are famous for this, and you have to expect a couple of spurious results..

Ok so the reason why I say that I dont agree is that my K03 GTI made 278BHP and 312ft/lbs

Spec was as follows on the engine..

2.75" downpipe with de-cat
2.75" cat-back with single box
Evoms intake
Forge twintercooler
Autotech fuel pump
Revo stage 2+
