Hi guys figured its about time i joined. I have started 2 build threads in the other folder.

I am the proud owner of Gti Edition 30 #787, has a couple of modifications as listed in the build thread:


I am also in the middle of a huge build of a gti 4wd conversion with fully forged engine and a GTX3071R turbo. It is far from a rush job but it will get there.

Anyways looking forward to reading peoples threads as there arent too many high BHP mk5's in Ireland.

Hi Paul good to see you on here not many mk5 in Ireland with work been done. Was talking to you at dubshed just after you picked it up from Alex. It's a lovely edition and with the clutch work done its back to full health. Cant wait to have a good read of the GTI  build thread. Joe still helping you ?

Well it isn't really an AXX anymore with forged rods pistons and race bearings and also the ferrera valves that should let it safely rev to 8250. Hopefully the next 6 months will see it running.

Yes he is but with him being as busy as he is its rare to get at it. But hey it'll be worth the wait.
