Painted or Plastic?
« on: December 24, 2009, 11:41:17 pm »
I am after some GTI/R32 sideskirts. I will be getting them colour coded to my car. (Laser Blue) My question is would I be better off buying R32 painted ones and getting them repainted to match or GTI textured ones and painting those?
I assume the R32 would be the best option?
Basically I want the ones that will give the best finish and colour match.
Cheers
Ollie :happy2:

IMO go for the R32 ones as it'll involve less work getting them painted.

I would go R32 ones, as said less work involved.

I'm in the process of getting my GTI rear valance colour coded on my GT-TDI which is costing a small fortune for what it is due to having to smooth the surface first.

So if I splashed out on brand new r32 ones from the dealers in primer would that get a perfect colour match?
Cheers :happy2:
