What other 'toys' apart from the Golf?
« on: July 09, 2015, 10:54:33 am »
Just want to see what else people are running (or playing with), whether it be your 'other' car/bike or anything else... Also include anything nice your family might have!

Myself, apart from the Golf GTi, I have a 2003 MR2 Roadster for sunny weekend B-Road drives with the hood down  :signLOL:

and..... a Honda VFR800 VTEC..

Here's me on the Nurburgring on the Viffer :)

I also love RC cars etc, have a nice little collection :)

My other toy is a 2008 Triumph Speed Triple 1050. Matt black, carbon hugger, seat cowl, bellypan, bar end mirror, GSG Moto headlight bracket, painted headlight buckets, Comp Werkes slip on plus some mapping tweaks, 2011 axle nut covers.

Here are a few photos a mate of mine took for me.

Nice, I always wanted one but never got round to it.  I had the 1.6 GTi Polo on a 2000 instead.

My GSXR 750

Here's a more recent picture. Done a lot to it, not much you can see but l-tech suspension, pc3, Gilles rear sets, quickshifter etc etc

Also had this for about 7 years, it once was very presentable but after a minor accident it's been stripped and slowly and I mean very slowly having a nut and bolt rebuild in a mates lock up. I don't think I'll ever finish it lol

I've fell out with mine lol it was my 2nd car after passing my test, it melted a piston on the m60 doing 70 wink wink lol and then dropped a valve on the second engine. I rebuilt it, got it pretty much mint and then when up someone's a*se on the way to work one morning years ago. I was staring at a very nice female at the time and not paying much attention  :innocent:

I loved my gsxr750, such an under-rated bit of kit don't you think? is this a k4 or k5 model?

It's a k5 bud but k4/k5 are the same bike just have different colours and graphics. I've had 4 750's now. To me there the best bike around, they will keep up with most litre bikes on the straights and 600's in the bends.

I bought a 4xv r1 at the start of summer and sold it after a week as there nothing on the 750. I do love a 600cc bike though, can't beat ringing there necks lol
