Per person i'm afraid Red  But good of ya to invite Steve mate, nice touch. Come on Steve would be nice to see you at the event, even if you can't kick Joe's arse..... This time.

Cheers for the offer Robin, If i was to come down, would of preferred to kick joes arse bringing phylis, but standing around watching and wishing id of brought the car would be too much.
being january and end of the month, i am abit brasic with my the boiler that packed up a couple of days back costing me a few hundred for a new heater Matrix, Road tax and MOT on monday on the car, I will have to pass on your very kind offer.
The VW gig in February is now in the Forefront to be at.
So joe if your reading this, you can re-instate your cars Carpet, seats, spare wheel and Bumpers in an attempt to beat a stage 1 Edition30 dsg
Im sure there will be cars in same state of tune as mine, so you can see what else your need to remove from your car to beat one
When our time comes on the strip joe, I will be even better prepared with my additional Forge Twintake too.
Fingers crossed the weather holds good for everyone, but still looks 50/50 last time i looked.
Make sure someone takes a camcorder!!

....Same here. Weather looks promising though.
Is a rain-wet surface good or bad for doing the quarter-mile? [you can tell I know zilch about it]. Do they still run it while raining?
Sunglasses Ron:
No mate, not if it's raining. If it rains and stops then they dry the track out with an old jet engine, literally :surprised:. But this can take about an hour or so.
Rubber + Rain + Rubber = :scared:
