I am looking to use it to turn my boost gauge off when I don't want to use it. I want to use a tyre set button and stick a blank on top of it. But I wouldn't know how to wire it to a latching relay?

I am looking at latching switches on eBay just plain square ones and somehow use that.

there is a good youtube video in the thread I have linked earlier explaining how relays work. Do a bit of research, they really not that difficult to understand once its been explained a few times.
Latching relays are anything up to £20.00, where as in the video it shows a way of using 2 regular relays to do the same job.

It's just trying to find a suitable switch to stick the blank cover on.

Measured up an old switch and I found a "rectangle latching button" on eBay which looks like a good donor. Only £2.50 from HK

That definitely is the easiest option mate. Euro car parts do rocker switches etc for a quid. U may find summit similar and not have to wait a month!

I bought it now but I don't mind waiting as I still have to install the boost gauge yet.

Well. I trimmed the eBay switch and the blanking button. And this is what I have, a bit messy underneath it all but looks fine on the outside

Off is raised



On



The buttons are fitted snuggly by friction so in 2 minds about gluing the switch to the blank.
