VDS PERFORMANCE.

After snapping a bolt in my subframe, whilst changing my console bushes I booked my car in at VDS performance to have the issue corrected. James did a health check on the car as I told him it wasn’t handling right hence the bush upgrade. He gave me some advice on things I could change to help correct the handling while everything was apart. One of which was an upgraded front anti roll bar with 3 way adjustment as the subframe had to come out anyway to have the snapped bolt drilled out and replaced, it was an ideal upgrade to consider as it is easy to replace while there is all the extra room one the subframe is out the way.
After leaving the car with him to strip the subframe, he noticed my passenger side shock was leaking along with a very creaky suspension top mount on the same side. As the subframe was coming off he said he could do the shocks and top mounts at the same time and I would still get my car back on the agreed day.

Not only did he show me my battered suspension parts after removal he also changed my CV boot clips as they were aftermarket clips that were pretty poor and leaking a bit of CV grease. It’s the little things that can cause the most problems.

The car now handling amazing and no more creaks in the suspension or subframe. James has truly done a fantastic job my car has never seemed sharper. Its great having someone so passionate about VAG cars in the south who you can trust with your pride and joy and you know are only going to do the best work.

Thanks again James a credit to VAG specialists, the people putting some main dealers to shame.

I agree. I only had a minor service and he was very precise with everything that was being checked, gave loads of advice and was a really nice bloke. I'd recommend him to anyone
