funny thing is i drove past a on the road emissions testing van that had the probes sticking into the road next to the van and had the cops a few yards down the road pulling cars new and old

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Isn't the point of a catalytic converter to reduce toxic emissions? So for the sake of possibly 7 bhp you're going to have a far louder and more polluting car? Gets the thumbs down from me I'm afraid.

What a prude.

You sound like my mum  :P

The fact of the matter is though, even if you took every car in the world off the road it would make Sweet FA difference to the supposed man made global warming.

I'm back at Statllers on Monday and it will get hoisted onto the lift for some pics :happy2:

i'll also be getting a dyno run carried out back at Nobles, but it will not be a direct comparison as I've done a few other mods whilst the car was in dock for the Quaife  :innocent:
Golf R gone.

If I only get quicker spool up it would still make a positive difference to available power and torque at any revs along the rev range, if not at the top :jumpmove:

It'll also allow alittle more ignition advance to be mapped in without det creeping in, in a higher rpm/prolonged high spped run.

Don't judge me by your ability !
