Hey folks
I've recently bought a tornado red GTi and looking for some advice...
The bodywork is in good condition, except a fair amount of stone chips on the bonnet and the usual lights swirling and wondered what products you'd recommend.
Having read around I've heard good things about ArmorAll SHIELD?
Currently I'm thinking:
- Shampoo and clean - Meguiars?
- Polish = Autoglym Super Resin Polish?
- Wax - ArmorAll SHIELD?
- Meguiars Lambswool Wash Mitt
Does ArmorAll SHIELD act as a good replacement for Wax?
A bit of a noob question, but do stone chips present any worry to the paint.. Should anything be applied to protect the clear coat or would the wax suffice?
Appreciate you can spend all weekend detailing, but I'm just looking for the essentials.
