LED Bulbs All Round
« on: May 22, 2015, 09:08:08 am »
Hey guys, I am looking at getting LED bulbs for my front/rear indicators (and brake lights too, if possible...) and I am wondering if anyone has done this and knows what type of bulb I am looking for? All searches turn back the Valeo lights, or front side-lights.

There is a couple of realy good LED car bulb sites that should be pretty good for this sort of thing.

I think I used to used the halfords website to find what the correct bulb was then go to the LED bulb site.

hope this helps

If you find a decent rear indicator bulb please share cause I'm struggling to find a decent set.
As for the brake lights iv done a fair bit of messing around with the rear lights and have found bold sport LED bulbs to be a really solid bit of kit. They are a bit pricey but actually do what they say they do  :happy2:

Just make sure you get error free ones, or you'll end up with bulb warnings

I fitted LEDs from Bold Sport on my rear GTI lights, except indicators and fog lamp. Bold Sport doesn't sell them and I don't mind too much just leaving those bulbs OEM (yellow light works better on fog and I rarely have to use it anyway). Check my project if you want to see one picture of the red LEDs at night.

Search for these on eBay, they worked in my GTi headlights.

+1 for Auto bulbs direct, have used them for a few bits and they are a decent company.
