Crunching when pulling away
« on: July 27, 2015, 09:48:41 pm »
Hi guys,
So today I went on a longish drive (around 110 miles) for a few weekdays away.
I noticed the car was running cool at around 80 or so degrees while I was doing around 70mph, could this be caused by me installing a carbonio intake without a remap, or is it more like my thermostat on the way out?
Also I have developed a loud crunching noise like metal on metal when pulling away and turning at low speeds, I'm not sure what could have caused this, any ideas? Thanks in advance
Karl

Also the crunch is coming from the drivers side front wheel

I was thinking it would be the thermostat, wasn't sure about the crunching noise, hopefully it is just the cv joint
