Exhaust Fitment help please!

Hi guys,

About to purchase a Miltek system for my mk5 golf gti, just found out its come off a diesel GT sport, however the fitment is the same as with the ED30 gti... Before I purchase I just want to double check that this will fit on my Petrol Gti, the fact that this has come off a diesel, and not a petrol wont make any difference will it? Just asking the vast knowledge on here for some advice before hand!

I want to know if this will fit my 05 plate gti, petrol, when coming off a diesel GT sport! Thanks guys, appreciate it :) Here are some pictures of the system...

The back box are the same not sure on the pipe diameter as it might need adapting but it should be okay

Amazing, so there is no difference in the Diesel/Petrol engines, the exhaust is the same for them both? It has an adapter pipe with the system  :happy2:

I think what Joe needs to know is will the 3" adaptor pipe connect to the standard GTi downpipe?

Its an Adapter 3" to 2.75 downpipe, will that work?

OK i'm confused here, you don't have a downpipe pictured and if it was from a derv it woldn't fit.

last 2 milltek dp's i fitted ran from turbo to end of tunnel there was then the 'middle' and back box, no seperate centre piece.

so if connecting to standard downpipe the short straight section you have is not required but you will need a step up adaptor, i'll grab a pic of the adaptor in a sec
