Just got me an ED30 :)
« on: July 25, 2015, 03:32:28 pm »
Hey everyone!

Just been on a long venture today to pick up my new ED30! :happy2: First impressions is that it's a great car but it doesn't seem to have the oomph of my stage 2 mk4 gti. I'm sure Revo will soon fix this though :driver:

Overall it's in good condition but there are some age related markings.. for the price I got it for I can't complain though!

Yeah I'd been searching awhile but held off until I found one with the xenons and the sat nav/multi media station. Well worth the wait!

Welcome!

Lovely looking Eddy and of course, the best colour (especially if you like cleaning it!)

Hi VW golf gti edition is a nice car but only thing I don't like 6,5 screen satnav  satnav doesn't give a 7 digit postcode so I changed mine to alpine satnav well better also has 7inch screen also has TV tuner sound quality is amazing

I am a bit of an audiophile and have a really good alpine unit in my mk4 but I really want to keep it oem this time round I love the interior of my eddy.

Steve - I have just searched this and found a guide from 2011/12. Think I can manage updating my satnav but I don't suppose you know what the most up-to-date firmware is that I need to download?

And as requested.. more pics!
