Any MK2 LCR's out there?
« on: August 06, 2015, 02:25:22 pm »
As the title, anyone on here own or know or have been in a MK2 Leon Cupra R?

Strongly considering getting one and would love to know what owners of one or anyone who had or knows one what they are like? Currently drive a MK5 Gti which I love but still have that R itch since I sold my last MK1 last year.

My mate jairm has one
Exactly the same as ed30 / s3  engine
think they are 240bhp stock. his did 265 with intake and exhaust stock. now 330bhp.

inside they are tacky but to drive they're nice enough.
also they all bend on the rear body panels above the doors where they flex lol

The normal Cupra's are 240bhp and the Cupra R's are 265bhp standard, they share the same engine and Ko4 turbo as the ED30 & S3's.

Did he have just the normal Cupra then? How did he find the car, does he still have it?

Yeah he still has it, he seems to enjoy it :)

Got bola B10 wheels on it (1552 tarmac rep, clear the TTRS brakes with the 340mm adapters if anyone is interested)
