slow going: the roughly OEM+ project

thought i should chuck one of these up  :smiley:    i'm not the quickest modder on the planet..    so dont expect a 2 week pocket rocket from me lol   

heres the first pictures.











and the first little mods.

recently added a ramair induction kit


and  added the buttons to my steering wheel..  just need to get it coded in now  :happy2:

How are you finding the Ramair? Seems to be a lot of interest in these on the forum.

How are you finding the Ramair? Seems to be a lot of interest in these on the forum.

i quite like it.  if you have the radio off you can hear it sucking at anything over about 1/4 throttle but tbh its not that bad  lovely little dump valve noises too  which lets face it was the main reason i got it  :laugh:     besides the eventual remap of course

i'm fortunate that with having a DSG steering wheel i only needed to fit the buttons in place of the blanks..  which was good because i dont think i coulda found a steering wheel in as good nick as mine is

  went for the 70mm buddy.  should be ample enough for where i'm going..  i'd imagine the 90mm kit is really only advantagous to K04 owners or stage 3

added some R32 rear lights i think they made it look loads better




for some reason though they highlight just how aweful the black plastic lower bumper is   :sick:   

RCD510 fitted


and pulled the GTI off the rear.  looks so much cleaner now
