Mike's Ed30 GTI Mk5

I bought an Ed30 number 1575 three weeks ago, and over the moon with it!

because you guys are amasing, I've read the previous owners posts, just to see a true history of the car.

It is completely standard, as far as I know. And I am looking at,

HID lights, I bought a kit off ebay and the h7 holders were rubbish, so thinking of buying better quality holders and trying again.

Upgrading the radio, it is a 6 CD RCD 500, from the previous owners posts it sounds like he bought a RNS510 and kept the RCD500 and swapped them back on sale of the car.

I have looked at a Remap, but cant afford the Forge twintake or a exhaust system at the minute so that is on the back burner, plus the clutch bite is below half pedal stroke so I would want to change that beforehand, along with new discs and pads all round.

For now though I have a query to you all about adjusting the door height, both front sills seem to have similar scrape marks and the rear door i noticed a scuff mark on the bodyside outer panel. Is it an easy job to adjust the height of the doors?

No idea then! I've snapped the release clip on one headlight though so would be a mission changing them! The drivers main beam is loose as to why I was trying to take the headlight out! Looks sick with black surrounds! Might look to invest! As projectors are mega money

I broke my central fan deflector so moved the parrot to hide it!
